Oponický hrad (-normovaný názov) alebo hrad Oponice - zrúcanina sa nachádza na západnom výbežku pohoria Tribeč nad obcou Oponice. Prvá písomná zmienka o hrade pochádza z roku 1300. Za zakladateľov a prvých vlastníkov hradu sa považujú Čákovci. Po smrti Matúša Čáka sa v roku 1329 stal jeho majiteľom Mikuláš Gutkeled, od roku 1389 ho vlastnil Dezider Kaplay a od roku 1392 prešiel do vlastníctva zakladateľa rodu Aponiovcov – Mikuláša Ewrsa.

We also use open data from Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. We use the Flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by Flickr.
Everyone can contribute to the Atlas development by adding new information about tourist sites. Changes made by OpenStreetMap и Wikimedia users will be available on OpenTripMap project.
